Gallery Hero Gameplay Featurette

Explore the gameplay for Gallery Hero in a new featurette

DEARBORN, MI - August 19, 2016 - Rasterzone Entertainment released the first featurette for its Gallery Hero™ video game today. The video showcases the gameplay and one of the game's music tracks. The official trailer for the game was also released earlier this month on the company's YouTube channel. The object of the game is to solve puzzles with the least number of moves in order to recover missing artwork. The game features 60 puzzles to solve, and six art pieces to save. Gallery Hero is out now for iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets.

In Gallery Hero, each puzzle is a 7x9 board of colored tiles and a few empty spaces scattered around. The player is given up to four tiles to use for clearing the tiles on the board. Each tile has four sides which can be a different color. A tile on the board is cleared when any of its sides line up with another tile's side of the matching color. At the beginning of each move, the player must place one of their tiles on the board to make matches. As tiles are matched and cleared, any tiles above them will fall, resulting in a potential chain of further matches.

"What makes Gallery Hero so addictive and fun is when you discover that one move which sets off a series of matches that clears half the board! And it's not ridiculously difficult to achieve either. Once you get the hang of it, there's only a handful of good options, and what looks like the best move usually is. Some matching games out there are basically games of chance. Gallery Hero is a game of strategy, not chance," said Alan Scarantino, founder, Rasterzone Entertainment.

Gallery Hero is now available in the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and in Google Play for Android phones and tablets. There are no ads in the game. The first 20 levels are completely free, and the full 60-level game can be purchased from within the app. The full game is on sale for $0.99 during the game's initial launch, which will last through August 24th. After that, the normal price will be $2.99.
